The Dutch Act on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Wet ter voorkoming van witwassen en financieren van terrorisme or Wwft), in which the Dutch anti-money laundering requirements are primarily laid down, applies to Biller.

The principal aim is that Biller 1) knows who it is doing business with, 2) what the purpose of the relationship is and 3) to ensure that Biller can continuously monitor its business relationships with the customer (seller). If these points have been satisfied and at least the information in section 33 of the Wwft have been included in an assessment, the assessment would be successful.
